Originally from Western Massachusetts, I came to this industry with a background in journalism and cultural anthropology, and a deep belief in the value of learning a versatile trade.
With over 15 years of salon experience on both coasts, I believe that the most interesting and important part of the design process is understanding the person under the hair. Beauty is everywhere.
I am most inspired by simplicity, classic shapes, cultural context, and anything funny.
